Funding to establish Nortek Scientific

Nortek Scientific has been funded to establish itself as a Centre of Excellence in Advanced Doppler Processing in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Nortek Scientific will work in close collaboration with academic partners at Dalhousie University and Memorial University on research and development of innovative underwater acoustic Doppler instrumentation. The first project will focus on the optimization and commercialization of a prototype multi-frequency current profiler for high resolution measurements of current velocity and suspended sediments in aquatic environments.
